what to expect

We recognize that the day of arrival at camp is an exciting, albeit stressful time for your family. We’ll do everything in our control to make your experience at Camper Check-In simple, convenient and fun!

Camper Check In Time Slots:

ARRIVAL TIME BOYS CABIN GIRLS CABIN

2:00pm-2:10pm Apache & Blackfoot Cherokee & Shoshoni 

2:20pm-2:30pm Shawnee & Mohican Cheyenne 

2:40pm-2:50pm Sioux Chippewa

3:00pm-3:10pm Pawnee Hopi

3:20pm-3:30pm Comanche Ute

3:40pm-3:50pm Zuni Pima

Late Check In Requests may be submitted to summercamp@rmcsda.org

After completing your on-site registration check-list, you’ll drop your camper at their designated village before heading home for a week of freedom and bliss while GVR staff provide around-the-clock childcare!

If you have questions or concerns at any point while on GVR property, our friendly staff wear easily identifiable staff shirts and are happy to offer help or connect you with the Summer Camp Director.
