A Camp for Every Age

Cub Camp I and II
Cub camp is for kids from the ages of 7-11, depending on the week (Cub I Ages 7-10, Cub II Ages 8-11). This week is designed for campers to explore all camp has to offer! Campers rotate through all actives with their cabin mates and counselor!

Junior/Tween Camp
Junior camp is for ages 10-12. Tween camp is for ages 12-14.  These camps are designed to give the campers more variety in the activities that interest them.  Each morning they are able to sign up for the activities they would like to participate in for that day.  Campers love the opportunity to choose their activities daily, getting a nice variety in their day.

Teen Camp
This camp is designed with the teenager in mind.  We start a little a later and stay up a little later.  The activities are aimed at the young people being able to form friendships and learn at the same time.  The teens will choose different activities each day during camp so they get to experience a variety camp.  Ages 13-17

Teen Outposts

Teen outposts are back! (Ages 13-17) Teens now have the choice to be a part of camping out for extreme teen camp. This is different than teen camp because we will be camping all week. Teens will be able to be a part of a combination of the below activities then participate in the weekend programming at GVR.  Teens are eligible for a combination discounted rate if they choose to attend both Teen camp and Teen outpost of $100. The teens may participate in the following activities during teen outposts:  (Sign up quickly, very limited space for this camp).

• Rock Climbing

• Backpacking

• Extreme off-road 4×4 rock crawling

• Primitive and Survival Skills

Family Camp -

Families will have the opportunity to enjoy a week of camp together through our family camp program! All of our classes and activities are offered Monday - Friday with daily sign-ups so that families can take advantage of all that GVR has to offer.  Morning and night programming is a great opportunity for families to worship together and enjoy a camp experience together. Join us this year for Family Camp 2018!

Your week only encompasses the bare minimal in food and lodging costs. In comparison to other Family Camp programs, our prices are one of the lowest to make sure your family is able to come this year!  We were able to do this by asking that each family brings their own bedding and towels as well as help to clean up their lodge room or cabin at the end of the week. If you would like bedding provided and cleaning service provided, contact us ahead of time and we can arrange that for an additional fee – contact: (303) 459-0945, gvrsummercamp@rmcsda.org.

Family camp is $140 per person + your choice of lodging (children 5 and under go for free!).

  • $12 for tent camping - per night
  • $18 for RV site - per night
  • $50 for cabin - per night - Cabins sleep 9 campers. There are no bathrooms attached, but a village bathhouse. *Bedding & Towels NOT included
